If you have made the decision to, or if child needs to go back to a childcare setting from June, then you will find changes to your usual childcare routine. It is natural to have concerns, after all these are uncertain times.
Your childcare provider will be able to provide reassurance and is there to discuss any worries you may have. By working in partnership with your provider, you will be able to manage the risk together. That might mean for example, different pick up arrangements and that no toys from home are brought from home.
Speak to your childcare provider about what changes have been implemented so you and your child know what to expect. Your provider should also talk to you, about how you can help them to ensure the changes they have implemented, reduce the risk of any COVID-19 infection in their setting.
