I know how important it is to find someone who you trust and feel comfortable about leaving your children with.
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder, a mother of 2, a qualified Primary Teacher, I have worked at a local Outstanding Montessori Nursery and I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology.
My home is safe, nurturing and child friendly and I have many resources for all ages and levels of development as well as dedicated spaces for the children to recognise as their own in which to play, eat and sleep. I care for each child as if they were my own. We are right on the doorstep of the countryside with farms, parks and fields within metres. We go on nature trails, have picnics and can attend a variety of groups in the local area giving the children the opportunity to socialise with others whilst learning new skills. We visit the library as well as other places of interest in our community such as the Post Office to learn how to carry out day to day activities such as shopping or posting a letter.
I can offer the flexibility that other childcare providers may struggle to deliver and, whilst I have my set hours and days, I am always happy to try and negotiate what would suit you and our family best. As a mum myself, I can appreciate the importance of having a childcare solution that fits in with your family life and will do my best to accommodate all the families who I work with.
I am dedicated to being the best Childminder I can be and will always be developing my skills and doing further training to improve my knowledge and challenge myself.
I am DBS checked and hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and have been a trained first aider for over 17 years.
